Crosman AK1 Air Rifle
Authentically conceived replica of the AK47 assault rifle, but its appearance makes it highly original!
The air rifle is propelled by two 12g CO2 bombs that are housed in the magazine. The magazine is also designed for 4.5mm BB steel ammunition, with a capacity of 28 rounds.
How the system works CO2: The bomb is placed in the gun at a designated location and mechanically opened by a mandrel. If the trigger is subsequently pulled, the hammer hits the valve stem and the hammer opens. CO2 gas then begins to flow from the bomber, which pushes the bullet out of the barrel of the gun.
Most of the material used in the Crosman AK1 submachine gun is metal, this is covered with ABS plastic. This construction is reflected in the weight of the machine gun, which is 3,620g.
The BlowBack system makes shooting more realistic than other types of air rifles by moving the slide of the machine gun. This system has an additional function, which is to retract the percussion mechanism. The submachine gun has a trigger in Single Action mode. This means that the slide of the submachine gun is cocked while the hammer mechanism is cocked. Pulling the trigger will fire the gun and then the BlowBack system will take care of recocking the gun, just like with live fire stocks.
One of the biggest advantages of this air rifle is definitely the burst firing. The 4.5mm steel BB pellets are fired at a cadence of up to 1400 rounds per minute! Accidental firing is prevented by the firing mode switch, which is located on the right side in the form of a lever. A safety is also located here to prevent accidental firing of the weapon. The switch is moved upwards to secure the weapon. One position down will change the firing mode to FULL AUTO and if the switch is placed in the down position, the gun is set in SEMI AUTO mode, which is single shot firing.
The rifle is equipped with several RIS rails 22 - allowing for maximum equipment with various tactical accessories (optics, collimator, laser, feet or flashlight)
The metal sights are suitable for target acquisition. The sight is height adjustable and the sight is fixed.
