German precision, full power, and beautiful craftsmanship make the Walther Rotex RM8 Varmint the perfect partner for outdoor activities.
The most important element of any air rifle is its barrel. The Walther Rotex RM8 has been given a German Lothar Walther barrel with a length of 500 mm. This is finished with a compensator cap under which you will find a standard 1/2" UNF 20 male thread for possible mounting of a noise compensator.
The steel cartridge or air reservoir can be found under the barrel of the gun with a capacity of up to 200cc. The maximum filling pressure is 230 BAR.
Air filling is accomplished through a filling port located underneath the forearm near the pressure gauge. Pressurization is done through the Quick Fill valve, which is included in the package. Walther RM8 can be filled with air by overfilling from a larger bottle or by using a special PCP pump.
The airgun is reloaded with a lever. During the reloading process, the 8 round magazine automatically rotates.
The Germans fitted the Walther Rotex Varmint air rifle system into a polymer stock, which is more durable than wood. A hole in the stock combined with a pistol grip ensures stability of grip, even when wading through bushes.
The air rifle is recommended to be fitted with a scope, as it does not have classic sights. The purchased rifle scope is then mounted on an 11mm mounting rail.
Below the forearm you will find a shorter 22mm rail for mounting feet or other tactical accessories.
