German manufacturer Umarex has come out with the Umarex 850 M2 series, which replaces the previous version, the Umarex Hammerli 850 Air Magnum. The stock in particular has undergone an upgrade, now having a more tactical look and feel thanks to the 22mm RIS rails. The end of the barrel has a 1/2" UNF - 20 male thread and the magazines are now metal. The base of the air rifle remains the same. What has worked for years does not need to be changed.
Edice Target Kit differs from the basic version in equipment. With the 850 M2 Target Kit version, you get an extra 2x12g adapter, a pack of diabolo ammo, a compensator, and a Walther 6x42 rifle scope. Full SNIPER EDITION :-)
The precision all-metal construction of the air rifle system bears clear signs of German quality, as does the 600mm rifled barrel with a 1/2 UNF male threaded muzzle end under the cap.
The Umarex 850 M2 air rifle uses a larger 88g CO2 cartridge at the base, with which it fires about 200 shots. There is also an adapter for 2x12g CO2 cartridges available for purchase, with which it fires about 75 shots.
A pouch magazine for 8pcs of diabolo ammunition is inserted into the mechanism before the reloading lever. Raising the reloading lever and pulling it to the rear position will rotate the magazine, and then returning the lever to the forward position will push the diabolo from the magazine directly into the barrel.
After the gun is loaded, the automatic safety will respond to prevent the gun from firing. You will find it at the beginning of the weapon system easily accessible with your thumb. To disarm, simply press and slide the safety forward.

The sights of the Umarex 850 M2 are easy to read thanks to Tru-Glo technology. Airgun sight is green, sight is red.
If the sights aren't enough there is an 11mm rail that you can mount a scope or collimator on. There is also an adapter for the now more common 22mm mounting rail.
