Taipan Veteran II 550mm 6.35mm Laminate FP

Taipan has introduced a brand new redesigned Taipan Veteran II windbreaker. This is an air rifle that, while it builds on the design foundation of its predecessor, takes almost all of its features to a whole new level.

In the case of the Taipan Veteran II, a steel floating barrel of 6.35 mm /.25 caliber was used, equipped with grooves specifically designed for SLUG type diabolos. Other ammunition can be used. For quieter shooting, the barrel of the air rifle is finished with an external noise compensator.

The shortened Bullpup stock of the Taipan air rifle is made of fiberglass and has a gray finish.

The Taipan Veteran II air rifle utilizes an air-powered proprietary cartridge whose maximum pressure is 300 BAR. The air volume of the cartridge is 311 cc. A WIKA pressure gauge is located at the front of the cartridge, which displays the current pressure in the cartridge.

The reloading mechanism of the Taipan Veteran II air rifle is completely redesigned. Mhas a newly positioned lever, closer to the trigger. This speeds up the actual process of loading the weapon without having to change the position of the shooter. This arrangement is familiar from biathlon guns. This modification was also made with left-handed shooters in mind - the charging lever can simply be moved to the opposite side. Either a 10-shot magazine or a single-shot reduction can be used during shooting.

Only the carefully tuned and extremely sensitive trigger mechanism remains intact from the original version. The shooter has the option of adjusting it from 0.5 to 1.5.

This air rifle also features a 22mm rail with a 20 MOA tilt for mounting optical sights such as a rifle scope or collimator.
