Reximex Daystar cal.5,5mm FP
The Reximex brand has come up with a nicely crafted air rifle that packs 49J of power at full power.
We really like the ergonomically shaped darker wood stock, which has an adjustable cheekpiece and two grips (on the fore-end and end of the stock) for a bipod or sling.
The grip of the Reximex Daystar model is sufficiently perforated, which you will appreciate during extended shooting.
The most important element of any air rifle is its barrel. The Reximex Daystar air rifle has been given a high-quality threaded barrel with a length of 580 mm finished with a functional compensator to increase the stability of the shot.
A steel cartridge or air reservoir can be found under the barrel of the gun with a capacity of up to 260cc. The maximum filling pressure is 250 BAR.
Air filling is accomplished through a fill port located at the end of the cartridge via a Quick Fill Valve. The Reximex Daystar can be filled with air by overfilling from a larger bottle or by using a special PCP pump. The Reximex quick fill valve has a standard 1/8" BSP male thread. You can therefore screw it onto all standard overflow hoses or pump hoses. If you purchase a pump with a quick connect coupling you will need to purchase a male quick connect coupling.
The ammunition magazine holds 12 pieces of 5.5mm Diabolo. The magazine is preloaded during reloading and then automatically rotates and feeds additional ammunition into the barrel when the lever is reloaded.
The biggest benefit with this model is the power control. By rotating the lever between the +- symbols, you can control the power from approximately 10-49J.
We recommend to fit the windscreen with a scope, as it does not have classic sights. The purchased rifle scope can then be mounted on both 11mm and 22mm mounting lenses.
