This classic folding air rifle from Turkish company Voltran by Ekol is characterized by its polymer body, which makes it look familiarly like the American M16 assault rifle.

Breakaway air rifles work on the principle of compressing the spring in the piston as the barrel breaks. After that, you just need to return the barrel to its original state. When the trigger is squeezed, pressure is built up and the ammunition is ejected from outside the barrel. Lead pellets are a suitable ammunition for the rifled barrel of 4.5 mm calibre.

To prevent accidental firing, a manual safety is located in front of the trigger in the form of a lever. By placing it closer to the trigger, the air rifle is secured. Moving the lever further away from the trigger disarms the air rifle.

A special attribute of the weapon is the top handguard, which makes the air rifle an intimate replica of the M16 rifle. The handguard houses a fully adjustable sight, which allows for elevation and fret correction via a twist adjustment. This adds to the strength of the sight. The sights are clear. 

The Ekol MS450 air rifle is wrapped with a polymer fairing in desert yellow. The air rifle can be accessorized with a scope, rifle scope or collimator using the 22mm mounting rail.
