The Crosman Benjamin Akela air rifle cal. 5.5mm is a quality and powerful air rifle.
The wooden stock of the air rifle is made of Turkish walnut and is ergonomic. It is suitable for both left and right handed shooters. The end of the stock has a soft boot.
The Crosman Benjamin air rifle is equipped with a rifled steel barrel and the double plating and integrated noise compensator make the operation of the air rifle much quieter.
This air rifle also features a trigger mechanism that is in Single Action mode. The cocking of the hammer is done via a reloading lever. The trigger is already quite sensitive by design. However, the shooter can adjust the trigger action to suit his individual needs.
The air reservoir, also known as a cartridge, has a capacity of 280 cc and can be filled with a maximum pressure of 200 BAR (3000 PSI). With such a charge, it will last for a minimum of 60 full shots. A quick-release connector located at the front of the cartridge is used to pressurize the cartridge. Although the quick coupler is included in the package, it is not compatible with conventional hoses and pumps. We therefore recommend purchasing a quick coupler designed for windpipes.
The Akel air rifle offers power adjustment, which is done via a spinner and is located in front of the ammunition magazine. Pwhen shooting at shorter distances, it is advisable to limit the power of the airgun.
Standard sights are missing, but there is the option to mount a scope at length 22 mm.
The manual safety is located in front of the trigger.
