The pistol is constructed with a polymer frame, metal slide, rifled barrel and metal magazine with other metal parts. The workmanship is faithful and quite solid as in a sharp example. The total weight of 890 g can also be seen.

The propulsion of the Walther PPQ M2 air gun is provided by a 12g CO2 cartridge that is inserted into a magazine hidden in the pistol grip. The cartridge can be used for up to 100 shots depending on the ambient temperature and shooting method.

Principle of the CO2 system. When the trigger is pulled, the hammer hits the valve stem and the valve opens. This is where CO2 gas begins to flow from the bomb, which expels the bullet from the barrel.

The Walther PPQ M2 air pistol has a rifled barrel suitable for 4.5mm diabolo ammunition only.

The magazine allows an above average capacity of up to 21 rounds of ammunition due to the swivel belt system. The only limitation is the maximum overall length of 6.5mm diabolos to make everything work as it should.

The Walther PPQ M2 pistol is equipped with a double safety. On the right side of the pistol, between the pistol grip and the slide, you will find a safety to secure the pistol. It takes the form of an elongated lever operated up and down between the markings F - armed and S - secured. You will also find a so-called reed safety in the trigger guard, which only activates the trigger if it is pressed on the center. This was taken from Glock pistols for the M2 model.

The trigger mechanism of the Walther PPQ M2 operates in Double Action  mode- along with the trigger press, the pistol's internal hammer is cocked and when squeezed, the gun fires. Blowback  system- -automatic movement of the slide after the shot - again winds up the pistol itself and the trigger then works only in the Single Action mode, when it is only tasked with the actual shot without winding up. The trigger then has less resistance and is easier to pull.

The Diabolo-type ammunition, rifled barrel, BlowBack system and lightweight trigger make the Walther PPQ M2  air pistol ideal for practicing gun handling and target shooting.

Under the barrel of the pistol you will find a 22mm mounting rail. This allows you to equip the pistol with tactical accessories such as flashlights and lasers.
