The construction of the Walther PDP pistol is made of a metal alloy combined with a durable polymer. The basic parts of the pistol, such as the frame, barrel and slide, are made of metal, while the lower part is completed with a durable polymer to reduce the overall weight of the gun and create a more comfortable and firm ergonomic grip.

The Walther PDP Compact is powered by a 12g CO2 cartridge that is neatly concealed in the grip, maintaining the authentic look of the gun. A single bomb can be used to fire more than 100shots. A metal ammunition magazine is also located in the grip and holds 16 rounds of 4.5mm steel BB ammunition.

The trigger mechanism of the Walther PDP Compact air pistol has a Double Action Only design . The pistol is semi-automatic, which means that pulling the trigger results in one shot and pulling it again results in another shot.

There are not only standard metal sights on the end of the gun, but also a module for adapters that allow the mounting of a collimator. Adapters are not included, but can be purchased as needed. Adapters are available for Vortex, Leupold, C-More and Trijicon collimators. The collimator supplied in the package can be mounted immediately.

A so-called reed safety is located on the trigger to prevent accidental firing . To deactivate the safety, it is necessary to press the trigger in the middle. There is also a manually switchable safety under the barrel, which is operated by moving it forwards and backwards, to completely disarm or secure the weapon for storage purposes, for example.
