Sig Sauer P365 air pistol

The Sig Sauer brand is a big name in the world of firearms. Now they are getting into airguns as well, and since they want high quality from these guns as well, they have them made in Japan. It is already clear at first glance that quality materials have been used in the production here. Both the metal breech and the polymer frame of the gun.

The steel barrel of the Sig Sauer P365 model with a length of 75 mm provides resistance to steel BB ammunition of 4.5mm caliber.

The gun magazine contains both ammunition and a CO2 propellant. The latter is supplied from a standardized 12g CO2 cartridge, which lasts for approximately 80-100 shots. The capacity of the ammunition magazine is 12 rounds.

The principle of the CO2 system is very simple. The bomb is inserted into the gun and mechanically sealed to the mandrel. When the trigger is pulled, the hammer hits the valve striker and the valve opens. This is where the CO2 gas begins to flow from the cartridge through the barrel.

The BlowBack system during shooting enhances the experience by moving the slide after the gun is fired. There is also recoil associated with the movement of the slide, which is detrimental to accuracy, but the realism of the shooting experience definitely makes up for it.

The trigger mechanism of the Sig Sauer P365 pistol has a single action design, the trigger is only responsible for the trigger pull, the shot. Before the first shot is fired, the pistol needs to be cocked by the slide. After the first shot of the pistol, the BlowBack system performs the recocking. Shooting is therefore semi-automatic. To fire, simply pull the trigger.

The SigSauer P365 air pistol is equipped with an accidental discharge safety in the form of a lever located between the grip and the breech. It is operated up and down.
