Umarex has a license to produce detailed replicas of world famous guns, including Glock models, allowing them to carry authentic original logos. This pistol faithfully replicates its edgy predecessor by combining a polymer frame and metal breech, barrel and magazine.
Powering the Glock 17 Gen5 MOS Diabolo BlowBack pistol is a CO2 cartridge (12g) that is inserted into a separate magazine. The principle of operation is simple: after inserting the bomb and mechanically fixing it with a screw, the bomb is tapped onto the valve stem. When the trigger is pulled, the firing pin opens the valve and releases a precise dose of CO2 that ejects the ammunition from the barrel .
One CO2 cartridge will allow approximately 60 shots. The magazine is also equipped with a revolving diabolo belt with a 21-shot capacity.
The blowback system on this gun not only serves to realistically move the slide when firing, but also reduces trigger resistance for the next shot, improving the smoothness of the shot.
The Glock 17 Gen5 MOS Diabolo BlowBack trigger mechanism operates in Double Action mode, which means there is no need to preload the internal hammer - just pull the trigger to fire. At the same time, the BlowBack system automatically tensions the hammer after each shot, providing a smoother, lighter trigger pull.
The safety is handled in the same way as the sharp version by a reed safety on the trigger. To deactivate it, it has to be pressed correctly in the middle. For additional safety, the pistol is equipped with a second manual safety under the barrel, which can be switched between lock and release.
The MOS variant allows the collimator to be mounted on the slide of the pistol using special adapters, which can be purchased separately. These are compatible with Docter, Trijicon, C-More and Leupold brands.
