Bruni GAP Blowback CO2

The Glock 17 from Italian brand Bruni is an airgun with a 12g CO2 cartridge. Colour finish matte black with black frame.

The combination of a metal construction and a polymer frame as in the firearm model has resulted in a total weight of 750g. The pistol is very easy to hold and handle.

The Bruni GAP air pistol has a magazine capacity of 17pcs of 4.5mm steel BB. The magazine also holds the propellant which here is provided by CO2 gas supplied from a 12g canister. This cartridge can be purchased as an accessory. The package contains 1pc of this cartridge.

The principle of the CO2 system: the cartridge is inserted into the gun and mechanically sealed by tapping it onto the mandrel. When the trigger is pulled, the hammer hits the valve stem and the valve opens. This is where CO2 gas begins to flow from the bomb, which expels the bullet from the barrel.

The gun has a double safety against accidental discharge, called a safety. The main safety is located under the barrel in the form of a forward and reverse operated switch. The other safety is located directly in the trigger guard. It's called a reed. The trigger has to be pressed on the centre to deactivate the reed safety at the same time. From a safety perspective, this is the best solution.

The trigger mechanism used in the Bruni GAP pistol operates in Single Action mode. Before the first shot is fired, the slide must be cocked to the rear position, as with the live action, which will cock the hammer along with the percussion mechanism of the gun and then release it forward. After the trigger is pulled, the shot is fired. The next pull of the trigger allows you to fire again thanks to the BlowBack system, which after the first one will recock the gun for you. This keeps the trigger short and light.
