Authentic replica of the Italian Beretta in the design of the CO2 air pistol for BB 4.5mm steel ammunition.
Principle of the CO2 system: the BB is inserted into the gun and mechanically sealed to the stock. When the trigger is pulled, the hammer hits the valve striker and the valve opens. This is where CO2 gas begins to flow from the bomb, which expels the bullet from the barrel.
The 12g CO2 cartridge that provides the propellant here is inserted directly into the magazine of the Beretta M9 pistol, where you will also find space for ammunition. A metal magazine with a capacity of 18pcs of BB 4.5mm steel pellets can also be doubled as a spare.
The all-metal design of the Beretta M9 A3, including the controls, complemented by polymer stocks gets the total weight down to 1,080g. So it's a really massive piece. The M9A3 is a redesign of the basic M92 model to meet today's requirements. The pistol has a more angular shape and has gained a 22mm rail under the barrel. You can mount a flashlight, laser or other tactical accessory to the 22mm bottom rail. The modified muzzle is finished with an M14x1 external left hand screw. Now the pistol design is much more tactical.
The trigger mechanism of the Beretta M9A3 pistol operates in Double Action mode - the hammer does not need to be cocked for the first time. To fire, just pull the trigger.
Another system used in this model is called BlowBack. This is the automatic movement of the slide backwards after the shot is fired. It adds to the realism of the gun, and also reduces the trigger resistance for the follow-up shot.
An accidental firing safety, called a safety, is located at the rear of the breech just like on the sharp model. It takes the form of a lever operated up and down. If the lever is turned clockwise, the gun is unlocked. If you pull the lever back down, the gun locks.
