T4E self-defence guns (RAM)
Rubber or pepper projectile guns (also known as RAM or T4E) are very effective for self-defense or suitable for weapons handling training. T4E guns are powered by gas from a 12g CO2 cartridge and fire T4E Rubber Balls. The power of these guns ranges from 7.5J to 40J. You can find T4E pistols, T4E revolvers, T4E shotguns, magazines, service kits and spare parts. Rubber projectiles for these guns can then be found in the T4E Ammunition.
Starting in 2024, Umarex says they are changing the name from HDR to TR, etc. The guns are still the same, just different in name.

T4E rubber projectile guns (RAM)
Our range includes revolutionary weapons designed for self-defense and training, also known as RAMs (Real Action Markers). If you are looking for a gun without the need for a firearms license, focus on T4E (training for engagement) products from the renowned German brand Umarex. These guns were originally developed for training purposes, but have also proven to be great tools for self-defense. Powered by CO2 pellets and ammunition in the form of T4E rubber pellets or pepper-filled polymer pellets, these guns offer a great option for training or self-defense.
Types of T4E guns
T4E guns can be divided into two categories: training and self-defense. Training weapons are precisely crafted to the smallest detail and perfectly simulate recoil, thanks to the blow back system. Try our advanced rifles and shotguns for firing 43 and 68 caliber rubber projectiles.
Self-defense rubber projectile guns are designed for immediate use. Umarex has developed a unique system for activating the CO2 bomb, which is stored in the handle of the weapon. Simply strike with the hand and the bomb is activated, ready for use.
What makes the Umarex activation system so unique? The T4E's projectiles are powered by CO2 bombs, which can wear out over time. This means that you can't keep a bomb in the gun at all times. Umarex has come up with a valve located at the bottom of the grip that makes it easy to prick the bomb before each shot.
When choosing an EDC (every day carry) self-defense weapon, it is important to consider several factors. Weight and size are key - compact and subcompact models, such as pocket or backup pistols, are ideal for everyday carry. It's also important to consider comfort of grip, and whether you prefer a revolver or a pistol. Magazine capacity is also an important consideration - keep a supply of replacement T4E magazines so you can reload your gun quickly.
Rubber projectile pistols are more complex in design than revolvers, but modern models are very reliable and malfunctions are minimal. Their biggest advantage is their larger magazine capacity, which reaches up to 8 rubber projectiles per charge.
Revolution rubber projectile launchers have a simple design and are very reliable and easy to use. Keep in mind that they have a lower magazine capacity, which is between 5 and 6 pellets per charge.
