In the 2nd generation of Zephyr riflescopes by the Czech company Valiant not only functional and design changes have been made, but also a complete redesign of the optical system, thanks to which the riflescope gained even better optical properties.

The zoom of the Zephyr II riflescope is adjustable in the range from 5x to 20x. Therefore, it can meet the requirements of shooting even at long distances.

The one-piece construction of the rifle scope body made of aircraft aluminum significantly increases durability. Due to the use of glass crosshairs, it is very durable and suitable for larger cuts with higher shot energy. The Zephyr II rifle scope is suitable not only for PCP air rifles but also for powerful spring air rifles or firearms with energies as high as 6000 J.

The basic tube with a diameter of 30 mm provides sufficient light. In order to keep the image quality constant depending on temperature conditions, the tube of the Zephyr II< rifle scope is filled with nitrogen. The lenses of the optical system of the riflescope are coated with multiple anti-reflective coatings to increase the luminosity and sharpness of the image. The lenses are further protected from the outside by removable Flip Open caps to reduce contamination. In case of strong backlight, you can use the supplied sunshade.

The sight outline, FBRtype cross is based on the Mil Dot, but differs by an extension at the bottom that ends at the very bottom of the rifle scope. This extension makes the optic excellent for shooting at longer distances, giving the shooter a greater number of DOT points to aim at.

The crosshair position adjustments on the Valiant Zephyr II  line of rifle scopes are open and really fine-tuned. It's not just the design that has been redesigned, but the operation itself. The click is a steady feel both tactilely and aurally. One click affects the position of the cross by 1 cm at 100 yards. The Fast Lock locking system is very easy to operate. Just pull the chimney up or to the side and you can make adjustments immediately. Once set, simply push the stack in and the position is locked. You can also take advantage of the nulling of the chimney, i.e. setting your initial values to 0. This makes it very easy to return to the original values of the injection. 

The left chimney in the center of the Zephyr II riflescope hides additional features. One of them is the< manually adjustable parallax. This will help to affect the sharpness of the background and crosshairs depending on the distance you are currently aiming at. The parallax range is< from 10 m to infinity. Also included is a large parallax wheel for easier control. In case of eye defects, the image can be easily sharpened by adjusting the eyepiece from -2 to +2 diopters.

At the top of the left chimney you will find another feature and that is the central backlight of the cross. The red backlight can be adjusted in 11 steps. The power supply of the backlight is here solved through a button-type  CR2032 battery, which is not included in the package. It can be purchased in the additional goods section, under the description of the goods.
