The 2nd generation of Zephyr riflescopes by Czech company Valiant has not only undergone functional and design changes, but also a complete redesign of the optical system, which has given the rifle scope even better optical properties.

The zoom of the Zephyr II riflescope is adjustable from 4x to 16x. Therefore, it can meet the requirements of shooting even at long distances.

The one-piece construction of the riflescope body made of aerospace aluminum significantly increases durability. Due to the use of glass crosshairs, it is very durable and suitable for larger cuts with higher shot energy. The Zephy II rifle scope is suitable not only for PCP air rifles but also for powerful spring air rifles or firearms with energy up to 6000 J.

The basic tube with a diameter of 30 mm provides plenty of light. In order to keep the image quality constant depending on temperature conditions, the tube of the Zephyr II riflescope is filled with nitrogen. The lenses of the optical system of the riflescope are coated with multiple anti-reflective coatings to increase luminosity and image sharpness. The lenses are further protected from the outside by removable Flip Open caps to reduce contamination. In case of strong backlight, you can use the supplied sunshade.

The intended outline, the FBR-type crosshair is based on the Mil Dot, but distinguished by an extension at the bottom that ends at the very bottom of the rifle scope. This extension makes the optic excellent for shooting at longer distances, giving the shooter a greater number of DOT points to aim at.

The crosshair position adjustments on the Valiant Zephyr II line of riflescopes are open and really fine-tuned. In fact, not only the design has been redesigned, but also the operation itself. The click is steady audible as well as tactile. A single click affects the position of the cross by 1/4 MOA at 100 yards. The adjustment chambers have a locking feature, so you don't have to worry about spilling during shooting. The Fast Lock locking system is very easy to operate. Just pull the chamber up or to the side and you can make adjustments immediately. After adjustment, just push the chimney and the position is fixed. You can also use the zeroing the chimney option, i.e. setting your initial values to 0. This makes it very easy to go back to the original values.

The left chimney in the center of the Zephyr II riflescope hides additional features. One of them is the manually adjustable parallax. This will help to affect the sharpness of the background and crosshairs depending on the distance at which you are currently aiming. The parallax range is from 10 yards to infinity. Also included is a large parallax wheel for easier control. In the event of an eye defect, the image can be easily sharpened by adjusting the eyepiece from -2 to +2 diopters.

At the top of the left chimney you will find another feature and that is the central backlight crosshairs. The red backlight can be adjusted in 11 steps. The power supply for the backlight here is via a CR2032 button cell battery, which is not included in the package. It can be purchased in the accessories section, under the product description.

Because we have no idea in advance which weapon and mounting rail the rifle scope will be used on, mounting rings are not included. This is because we anticipate that the Zephyr II series will find its use on edged weapons that require steel mounts. Please see the accessories section for the correct mounting rings for your height and mounting type.
