The Umarex T4E Heckler&Koch SFP9 pistol is used for defensive shooting and while not intended for competitive target shooting, it can handle canister and other target practice well.
Thanks to the combination of a metal breech and polymer frame, the overall weight of the gun is light. Although the gun is relatively light, it is still quite sturdy.
T4E Heckler&Koch SFP9 uses a CO2 12g bomb as a propellant, which is inserted directly into the magazine along with the ammunition. The magazine allows for the use of Rubber Ball .43 caliber ammunition and has a capacity of 8 rounds.
The principle of operation of the CO2 system is as follows: A small BB is inserted into the gun, which is impaled on a mandrel using a mechanical closure. When the trigger is pulled, the hammer hits the valve stem and the valve opens. This starts a flow of CO2 gas from the vial, which pushes the bullet out of the barrel.
The Umarex T4E Heckler&Koch pistol uses a trigger mechanism in Single Action mode. Before the first shot is fired, the slide of the gun must be pulled back and then released to cock the hammer mechanism. Thanks to the Blowback system, which automatically retracts the hammer after the shot is fired, it is possible to continue firing by squeezing the trigger.
The pistol is equipped with a safety against accidental discharge, called a tongue safety. This safety is also used on Glock pistols. To unlock the gun and fire the shot, you must pull the trigger together with the safety reed.
