Knives that have a bowtie design hide theirblade in an opening handle. When you move your wrist, the handle of the knife opens and the blade is thrown out in a circular motion with the other part of the handle, which you eventually grip.

The SCK Butterfly Spear knife is often used for motor training and for fun. 

The Spear butterfly knife has a blade made of stainless steel 420 and its length is 96 mm. The blade is characterized by a single-sided smooth edge that ends in a sharp point.

The handle of the knife is also made of metal to provide durability while handling the knife.
