PRESSLUG FORM 6,35MM

The PRESSLUG FORM (coccyx) are made in the Czech Republic on modern CNC machines, using high quality materials for long life. Quality materials are key to achieving excellent results and reliability, and here they meet the most demanding standards.

The casting mould is made from EN AW 7075 aluminium alloy with a red anodised finish and the shear bar is made from TOOLOX 44 black tool steel. The pliers themselves are made from INOX 1.4301 stainless steel.

The tool has a total of eight grooves, each of which has a 6 mm diameter and 11 mm depth.

The process of casting lead blanks for subsequent pressing is simple, but it is important to follow basic safety guidelines when handling lead.

Before casting, the mould must be heated and carefully closed. Then just pour the molten lead into the grooves and cut off the excess metal with a shear bar. You can then open the mould and dump the removed rollers onto a soft support such as an old towel or cloth.

These rollers have a diameter of  6 mm and are ideal for pressing Slug type diabolas in 6.35 mm caliber.
