Defensive and pepper sprays
Tear and pepper sprays are used in self-defense against an attacker. The substance contained in the spray acts as an irritant to the eyes and respiratory system, disabling the attacker for a period of time without causing any lasting effects. Pepper sprays are categorized according to the application of the active substance - in the form of foam, gel, aerosol mist (FOG) or liquid shot (JET). The advantage of FOG pepper sprays is the large dispersion during application, it is not necessary to aim precisely. On the other hand, with the JET type, it is necessary to aim as precisely as possible because the active ingredient is applied in a small range.
