A gas piston powered air rifle with Turbo Nitrogen Technology designation. The air rifle does not have a standard spring. Instead, the piston features a gas spring that makes the energy delivered more constant, which translates very favorably to the target.
GAS-piston airgun principle: by breaking the barrel, the gas strut is compressed by the piston, which is then captured by the trigger mechanism. After the trigger is pulled, the piston is propelled forward. This creates pressure, which then drives the ammunition out of the barrel.
The Umarex Syrix air rifle's safety against accidental discharge, called the safety, is found in front of the trigger. It is operated by moving backwards, locked and by moving forward unlocked. The safety is also automatic and locks during the cocking of the air rifle. This undoubtedly increases the safety of handling the air rifle.
Aiming at the target is made easier by the adjustable side and elevation sights and fixed sight. For easier readability, the sights are equipped with Tru-Glo luminous elements.
The entire system is fitted to a black polymer stock with distinctive profiling on the grip and forearm. The grip of the Syrix air rifle is so comfortable and secure. The ergonomics of the stock should suit both right and left-handed users.
