The principle of the CO₂ system: the firing pin is inserted into the gun and mechanically sealed to the buttstock. When the trigger is pulled, the hammer hits the valve stem and the valve opens. CO₂ gas begins to flow from the bomb, which expels the bullet from the barrel.

The plastic pellets, referred to as 6 mm BBs, are inserted into replica original cartridges. This solution adds to the realism.

The trigger mechanism Smith & Wesson Military & Police R8 Double Action mode - when the trigger is pulled, the hammer is simultaneously cocked, which strikes the firing pin when the trigger is squeezed.
