Safety Instructions: Take the grenade in your right hand so that your fingers are pressing the lever against your body. With the index finger of your hand, reach into the ring of the cotter pin and pull the cotter pin. The grenade can stay in your hand as long as you want as long as the lever is not released. After selecting a target and timing it appropriately, throw the grenade at the target. At this point, the lever will return under the influence of the firing pin spring, release the firing pin and fly away with a characteristic popping sound, and after 4 to 5 seconds an explosion will occur.
