German company Umarex comes up with a precision crafted air rifle that delivers a full 60J of power!
The most important element of any air rifle is its barrel. The Walther Reign M2 VI has been given a German Lothar Walther barrel with a length of 600 mm. This is topped with a compensator cap under which you will find a standard external 1/2" UNF thread for the eventual installation of a noise compensator.
Thanks to bull-pup construction and lightweight high-strength aluminum, it reaches a weight of just 2,940g.
The air reservoir, also known as the cartridge, is not located under the barrel in the butt of the gun. The capacity of the cartridge in the case of the Reign model is enough for 40 full shots.
Filling the Reign cartridge with air is done via the Quick Fill valve using a hand pump or by overfilling from a bottle. For filling from a cylinder, a hose with its own pressure gauge and release valve is required so that the pressure can be released from the hose and the Quick Fill valve can be removed from the cartridge after filling.
The windage tube is recharged with a lever. During the reloading process, the 10 shot cartridge automatically rotates.
Also, the Walther Reign air rifle boasts an adjustable sport trigger, which is used on all major Walther models.
The air rifle is recommended to be fitted with an optic as it does not have conventional sights. The purchased rifle scope is then mounted on a 22mm mounting rail.
